We couldn’t think of a better way to begin our Pretty Creations blog than to spotlight the wedding of our best friend, Gracie – one of our past clients and the face of Pretty Creations.

Gracie married her husband, Steven on the 27th Nov 2009 in a beautiful wedding blessing ceremony held at Hunter Hill All Saints Anglican Parish, followed up a modern Marie-Antoinette themed reception in the QVB Tea Room. The bride wore a stunning couture tulle layered gown by Joanne Panzarino Alta Moda, with bridesmaids dressed in sorbet coloured dresses. David Austen roses, Adriano Zumbo macaroons and Dress Me Pretty chiffon pink flowers attached to sandalwood fans accentuated the decadent French-inspired theme.

Christine created the makeup look for Gracie and her bridesmaids. On the beautiful bride, she focused on a flawless matte base, with luminous rose cheeks, and slightly more dramatic eyes using taupes and full lashes. On her bridesmaids, warm colours were used to compliment the pretty sherbet colours of the dresses – soft browns for the eyes, peach for cheeks and lips.

Bride’s beauty tip for soon-to-be brides:
If you want to avoid bloating, don’t eat salt for 3 days prior to the wedding. Also don’t drink too much water the night before or on the wedding day – sounds like bad advice but it also really reduces bloat. Just tiny sips if you have to!
